PERRE’S LEATHER
Not every leather is Perre leather. Very few leathers that can meet the strict Perre criteria can become part of the Perre collection.
PERRE LEATHER IS NATURAL
We always pursue the natural; this is our natural rebellion to a synthetic world. Only the best can make our collection.
PERRE DOES NO HARM
Perre does not use hides of animals hunted and killed for their skins. We use only those hides that are the byproducts of the food industry, which is proof that no living being is harmed directly.
PERRE LEATHER IS FASHIONABLE.
Working the leather is tricky. Perre reworks raw leather in such a way that is most compatible with fashion trends. This way, hundreds of different colours and combinations emerge every season in the Perre collection.
PERRE IS HANDMADE
Each piece of the Perre collection is fully handmade and hand-crafted. This ensures that every collection is unique including different sizes of each design – that you can feel special.
History of Leather
Since the early days, raw leather has been the most important and prestigious material for dressing on account of its durability and functionality.
While there may have been differences in applications and working of leather based on location, climate, level of prosperity and socio-cultural differences, leather has always maintained its prestige throughout ages.
Inspired by the past, aspiring toward the future.
From the Perre empire to Perre leather fashion…
The use of leather is deeply embedded in the Turkish culture with roots that can be traced back to Central Asian Turks where animal husbandry is highly developed. Having a central place in Turkish and global fashion industry, the homeland of leather is these lands.
Due to its functionality, durability and organic nature, leather maintains its prominence as a healthy form of attire.
